About Jacqueline
"I create colour-infused impressionist and expressive oil paintings where the figure and background are in a dialogue but where the figure takes the lead. Colour, movement and an attitude is the language the figure uses to speak to us."I love working with colour because it delights and energizes me. As I seek to bathe my works in colour, my aim is not only to depict the colours I see but also those I feel."For me, the chance to create my own vision and interpretation of the world and people around me is a privilege and a joy."
